We hope you have had a good winter and are looking forward to a pleasant spring season! Starting in 2017 we will be an ALL OKLAHOMA GROWN market so we are excited! Please note the change in location for the Wednesday markets, those are now in Mitch Park, the parking lot just north of the basketball courts and south of the baseball fields.

Opening Day will be April 15 with closing day October 28. Wednesday markets will run June7 – August 16. Both markets will run 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. all season.

Below you will find the application for the 2017 Edmond Farmer’s Market and a copy of the OSU-OKC “Availability of Oklahoma Grown Produce” list. YES, there have been changes to the application so be sure to thoroughly read the entire application. We will be paying close attention to what vendors provide, claim and identify and this WILL be enforced. Example, if you bring sweet corn in April and state/claim that it was grown in Oklahoma, you will be asked to leave the market. Make sure to read the entire application due to other changes, you will be agreeing to all terms if accepted.

Preseason meeting information will be sent out to those who have been accepted to market, with acceptance letters. We do not have a cut-off date for accepting applications, but we will start sending out acceptance/decline letters no later than March 1. No spot is guaranteed. Vendor spots will not be held in anticipation of returning, a new application must be filled out each season in a timely manner.

Our goal is to continue moving forward to provide a high quality market with a good variety that entices shoppers to stop in and shop. Don’t forget the Festival Market Place is equipped with WiFi so if you use a cell phone application, like Square Up for debit/credit purchases, you will not go against your data plan!
