Operation Clean Community

Edmond’s annual Operation Clean Community event, sponsored by Edmond Beautiful and the City of Edmond, is scheduled for Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Cross Timbers Municipal Complex located at 2004 Old Timbers Drive. This event was rained out in April. (View Map) This collection effort is in conjunction with a statewide Trash-Off, which is sponsored by the Beautification Office of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.

The following event services are offered to Edmond Solid Waste Residential Customers only. A printed or digital utility bill will be required to receive these services.

Services offered at this year’s event include:
  • Paper Document Shredding provided by MIDCON. Customer’s documents will be shredded on site within view of the customers.
  • E-Waste Collection provided by CDR Global. E-waste consists of Computers, Monitors, Phones, Laptops, etc.
  • Tire Collection for Edmond residential customers.
  • Conditions for Tire Collection:
    • No tires with rims
    • No tires from dealerships, salvage yards, service stations, etc.
    • No tires from forklifts, offroad vehicles, heavy machinery, agricultural vehicles, tractors or backhoes
