  1. 5th Annual Pet Health Fair

    September 6, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ 1001 W. 15th St.

    This is an event to raise an awareness about pet care as well as raise money for Paws for Life, the non-profit organization supporting the Edmond Animal Shelter. The money raised will help house, feed, vaccinate and treat pets at the shelter.

Amateur Radio offers such a wide range of activities that everyone can find a favorite niche. As one of the few truly international hobbies, ham radio offers the ability to communicate with other similarly licensed aficionados all over the world. Further, ham radio offers opportunities to serve the public by weather spotting or supporting communication in disasters and emergencies, and it’s a platform for scientific experimentation.

    Ages 18 & UP When we say ‘throw’ we mean on a potter’s wheel! This is a basic introduction to using a potter’s wheel and learning how pots are thrown. Upper body strength and coordination are the secrets to success in this class. Visits required: One to throw, one to glaze and one to pick up.

  2. Paint Away class for Adults @ the MAC

    September 8, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ The MAC building in Mitch Park

    Ages 18 & Up This is a basic social painting class for people who think they can’t paint or never have. We will provide the basic layout of the painting and you will provide the color and creativity. All you need is an open mind to let the artist with in to come alive. This is a class that is fun to take with a friend.
