Capital Projects and Financing Task Force
The Capital Projects and Financing Task Force meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 4pm in room 104 of the Planning and Public Works Building located at 10 South Littler. The task force consists of nine members. The purpose of is task force is to review and provide recommendations to the City Council regarding the capital improvements to be constructed by the extension of the three-fourths of one percents sales tax approved December 2000.
The definition of Capital Improvements as defined by Oklahoma State Law and approved by the Capital Projects and Financing Task Force:
“Capital improvements shall mean all items and articles, either new or replacements, not consumed with use but only diminished in value with prolonged use, including but not limited to roads and streets, drainage improvements, water and sewerage improvements, machinery, equipment, furniture and fixtures, all real property, all construction or reconstruction of buildings, appurtenances and improvements to real property, the cost and expenses related thereto of rights-of-way or other real property, engineering, architectural or legal fees, and payment for improvements for which subsequent reimbursement is made to the capital improvements fund.” Title 11 O.S. §17-110.
