Final Pass for Collection of Storm Damaged Tree Limbs Begins Feb 4

Contractor to Make Final Pass for City-Wide Collection of Limbs

The contractor for the City of Edmond will make the final pass for collection of storm-damaged tree limbs beginning next week. Residents are advised to place their storm-damaged tree limbs at their curb by February 4.

Storm-damaged tree limbs should be placed a safe distance from mail boxes, gas and water meters. Limbs should not be wrapped in twine.

Residents do not need to call to be registered for the final collection.

The mechanical equipment used by the contractor will pick up limbs and larger debris but it may not pick up smaller debris and twigs. Residents can dispose of these in the cart during their weekly collection.

The contract is for collection of storm-damaged tree debris only. Residents who need to dispose of fence panels, landscape materials and bags of trash can do so by placing them in the cart for weekly collection, taking them to the privately-owned transfer station or scheduling a bulk collection through Solid Waste Services.

Removal and disposal of debris placed at the curb after February 4 will be the responsibility of the resident.
