Roadwork Project to Begin Monday
Kelly Scheduled for Road and Drainage Improvements
Kelly will be closed from Danforth to Covell, beginning Monday, for a roadway improvement project. Local traffic will be allowed north of Danforth to access the Hawks Landing addition during construction, which is expected to take approximately 45 days.
The project will include the addition of southbound right turn lanes on Kelly, south of Covell into Covell Village. The additional lanes will facilitate the flow of traffic on Kelly.
In addition to widening Kelly, the construction will include storm drainage improvements.
No detours will be indicated. Motorists will determine the best alternate route.
The roadway improvement project is being funded by Lowe's Home Improvement.
