Work to Begin Tuesday on Coffee Creek
City/County Project to Reconstruct Coffee Creek from Broadway to Kelly
A project to reconstruct Coffee Creek between Broadway and Kelly will begin Tuesday. The improvement project will improve the base and surface of the road, making it smoother for drivers.
This is the first of three one mile sections to be reconstructed through an interlocal agreement with Oklahoma County District 3. Future reconstruction will include Coffee Creek from Coltrane to Bryant, and Sorghum Mill from Coltrane to Bryant.
Kelly will not be closed throughout the duration of the month-long project but will be closed at times to through traffic. The project is expected to be completed mid-September, depending on weather.
Cost of the project is approximately $460,000. Oklahoma County District 3 will provide the labor and equipment and the City of Edmond will provide the materials.
