Waterline Work Closes Sections of University Street
Local access only on University from Second to Ninth Street
Construction for waterline improvements in the area of Second and University will close sections of University between Second and Ninth Street throughout the daylight hours allowing only local access.
The waterline improvements project began June 16th and is part of the annual line replacement program. This area of improvements should last approximately 8 weeks with only sections being affected at a time. Informational flyers are delivered to residents one week prior to their property being directly affected by the construction. In the event residents could be affected by a water shut down, a 48-hour written noticed will be given.
Cost of the project is approximately $1.1 million. WN Couch, INC. is the contractor on the project.
