Why does it cost to enter Arcadia Lake?

All monies collected are applied to the operation and maintenance of the Lake facilities. It is our commitment to continue to provide a quality recreational area.

Do you have to wear a life jacket?

Any person under the age of 13 must wear a life jacket when he or she is in the water (including while they are on the boat).

Does Arcadia Lake rent life jackets?

Although we don’t rent life jackets, we do sell them for our customer's convenience. We have 3 sizes: child size, youth size, and adult size.

Are trotlines allowed?

Trotlines, jug lines, throw lines, limb lines and yo-yo's are not allowed.

How big is the lake?

Arcadia Lake has a surface of 1820 acres and is bordered by 26 miles of shoreline.

What type of fish are in the lake?

Catfish, Blue Gill, Bass. Other species have thrived as well.

How many campsites are there?

145 total campsites. 10 Full Hookups, 72 regular electric, & 63 primitive. Each campsite includes a picnic table, utility table, charcoal grill, fire ring, and access to community water & restrooms.

What is the difference in campsites?

A primitive site has no electricity.

A regular site has electricity, plus community water.

A full hookup has electricity, water and sewage hookups.

How many tents can we put on a campsite?

Two camping units of any kind are allowed per campsite.

What time does the lake open?

All parks at Arcadia Lake, with the exception of Edmond Park and Scissortail Campground, are open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Edmond Park and Scissortail Campground are closed for the winter. Please note that fees, information and hours of operation are subject to change without prior notice. Beach areas close at sunset.

Does the lake rent boats or wave runners?

There are no water craft rentals at Arcadia Lake.

Can I reserve one of the Large group pavilions?

Yes, by calling (405) 216-7470 you can reserve one of the five large group pavilions located at Arcadia Lake.

How do I reserve a campsite?

All the campsites at Arcadia Lake are "first come, first serve" as we do not take reservations; however, we recommend you call (405) 216-7474 for current occupancy and site availability.
