Lake Rules

These rules and regulations are provided to insure the safety of all visitors at Arcadia Lake. We hope you enjoy your stay!

Lake Rules and Regulations 

  1. Glass containers are prohibited.
  2. Swim beaches will close at sunset and re-open at sunrise.
  3. Swimming is allowed in the 3 designated areas.
  4. Persons under age 13 must wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved personal flotation device of proper size and fit when in the water.
  5. Diving is prohibited.
  6. Fires are allowed only in designated areas. All campsites have a fire ring.
  7. Firearms, fireworks, BB guns, air rifles and explosives are prohibited.
  8. All pets must be penned, caged or kept on a leash no longer than six feet.
  9. Pets are prohibited in swimming areas, beaches and playgrounds.
  10. Drivers must obey speed limit and warning signs.
  11. Vehicles must remain on paved surfaces at all times and may be parked only in designated areas.
  12. All vehicles must be street legal to be operated in the park area.
  13. Camping is permitted only on the numbered sites in designated areas.
  14. Check out time for campers is 5 p.m.
  15. Skiing is allowed only in designated areas.
  16. Watercraft may be carried to the shore or may be launched from designated areas.
  17. Personal watercraft (jet skis, wave runners, etc.) may be used only in designated areas. No towing.
  18. All annual passes for vehicles and watercraft are to be affixed to the vehicle or watercraft and are not transferable to other vehicles or watercraft.
  19. Seining, cast netting and trawling is not allowed within 150 feet of any dock, walkway or any structure that floats or protrudes from the shoreline out into the water of Arcadia Lake.

Trail Rules and Regulations

  1. All trails are open from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week.
  2. Each person must pay the appropriate entry fee.
  3. No pedestrians or bicycles allowed on the equestrian trail.
  4. No motorized vehicles are allowed on ANY trail.
  5. No fires allowed on any trail.
  6. No littering
  7. Stay on designated trail at all times.
  8. Park vehicles and horse trailers in designated areas provided by the park officials.
  9. Do not disturb wildlife or livestock.
  10. Yield the right of way to other non-motorized recreationists.
  11. Use caution when overtaking others - make your presence known well in advance.
