Our lifeguards are trained to prevent accidents and to perform first responder care. Pelican Bay managers and staff have the right to enforce rules and remove unruly patrons. Failure to follow rules can result in serious injury!
Rules
- All riders must be at least 48” tall
- Follow the instructions of the slide attendant
- Combs and/or other foreign objects in pockets are not allowed while riding the slide
- Eyeglasses must be securely affixed to the rider with a head strap
- Only swim suites are allowed. Cut off jeans, street clothes or shoes are not permitted on this ride
- Riders must enter the slide in a sitting position and wait for instructions from the guard stationed at the slide starter tub
- All riders must ride feet first while lying on their back. Riding on stomach or head first is strictly prohibited
- Only one rider at a time. Absolutely no trains or chains of riders are permitted
- Tubes, mats and/or life jackets are not permitted on the waterslide
- The line should form on the deck with one rider on each landing and one rider in the starter tub. Wait until landing area is clear before entering
- Riders must be in good health. Pregnant women or individuals with heart or back conditions should not use this ride.
- The ride will be cleared when bad weather is imminent
- No running, standing, kneeling, rotating, tumbling or stopping in the flume.
- No diving from the flumes
- Leave the flume pool promptly after entering
- Do not use this slide when under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Non swimmers not permitted
