Recreation promotes family and community bonds that last a lifetime. That's one of the many reasons that recreation contributes to our quality of life. It has numerous health and social benefits including improving physical fitness, reducing stress, increasing life satisfaction, and encouraging volunteerism.

The Multi Activity Center (MAC) is located at 2733 Marilyn Wiliams Drive, at the west entrance to J.L. Mitch Park on Covell between Kelly and Santa Fe.


Lacrosse

Edmond Parks & Recreation is enrolling players for the 2008 season of Lacrosse.

Lacrosse is an exhilarating sport that’s fast-paced and full of action. Lacrosse utilize the same skills found in basketball, soccer and hockey. Anyone can play lacrosse–the big or the small. The game requires and rewards coordination and agility, not brawn. Quickness and speed are two highly prized qualities in lacrosse.

Volunteer Opportunities

Edmond Parks and Recreation is looking for teens (ages 13-18) and adults who are interested in helping people of all ages in our community experience the positive benefits of recreation.
