As an officer, you will respond to burglar alarms, patrol neighborhoods and comfort victims. You’ll collect and log evidence at crime scenes, apprehend criminals and testify in court. You’re as comfortable in front of a computer as you would be behind the wheel of a police car.
You will be skilled in investigation and interviewing methods. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to deal courteously, tactfully and firmly with the public in a variety of situations.
As an Edmond police officer, you are the public face of our city and our department. You will make our city a better and safer place in which to live and work.
