How Can I get a copy of a police/accident report?
You must present a valid photo ID at the front desk of the Edmond Police Department. Records office hours are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no charge for copies to the victim(s) listed on the report. For all persons, accident reports are $4 and incident reports are $0.25 per page. How can I get a background check?
The Edmond Police Department can run a local criminal history, however, the report will not include any criminal history that falls outside of the Edmond Police Department’s jurisdiction.
If you need an all encompassing background check, The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations (OSBI) is your best solution. OSBI performs in-person criminal history record check requests at their headquarters location only; requests must be submitted on completed OSBI criminal history information request forms.

How can I get fingerprinted?
If you are a current Edmond resident, you can get your fingerprints done at the Edmond Police Department. Official proof of residency is required. The cost is $10 for up to 2 cards; $5 for each additional card.

You may request an application to accompany a police officer on patrol from the Records Division. Your application will be reviewed and if approved, you will be notified.
