Adopt-A-Street
Adopt-a-Street programs are administered by Edmond Public Works and Keep Edmond Beautiful for an ongoing year-around litter pickup from the section line roads and thoroughfares.
Volunteers from various civic groups, schools groups, business clubs, sororities, fraternities, and church groups devote their time and effort as "litter patrols" along the roadsides to help keep Edmond clean. Normally volunteers adopt one (1) mile of roadway for which they collect litter up to four (4) times each year.
Edmond Solid Waste Services donates the 30-gallon city-coded bags and disposal of the litter for this volunteer program.
