Do you allow credit extensions if I can't pay my bill on time?
Call a Utility Customer Service representative before the expiration of the past due notice. We'll work with you on payment arrangements. If your notice has expired, please call (405) 359-4541 immediately to avoid disconnection of service.
How can I have my energy bill deducted from my bank account automatically?
By selecting Automatic Pay, your City of Edmond utility bill is paid automatically each month from your bank account approximately 10 days after you are billed. You save on postage and time, plus you don't have to write a check. There is no charge from Edmond Electric for this service. Learn more about Automatic Pay .
Can I make a payment by phone?
Yes. You can pay your City of Edmond utility by phone using a credit card. With this service, you control when the payment is made by simply calling (405) 359-4541.
I don't believe my meter was read correctly. Can arrangements be made to have the meter re-read?
Yes, you can request that the reading of the meter be verified. If your meter was misread this month, an accurate meter read next month will correct the error. Learn how to read your meter .
How can I check the amount due on my bill and the date of my last payment?
Simply call (405) 359-4541 and a Utility Customer Service representative will assist you.
Can the due date of my bill be changed?
You can choose the day your utility bill is paid. Simply set up a bank draft to pay your utility bill. For example, if you pick the 15th as the draft date, your account will be drafted on the 15th or after every month. To sign up for this service, fill out and return the enrollment form.
How much does it cost to establish service or transfer service?
The fee to initiate or transfer service is $15. There is a $25 charge for initiating service after 1 p.m.
How long does it take to have service initiated?
We guaranteed same day service as long as we receive the request no later than 1 p.m.
Which months of water consumption are used to calculate my sewer rate?
The water consumption on your December, February and March bills is used to calculate the sewer rate that goes into effect in May of each year.
