Water Production Division
Edmond has three water sources
- Garber-Wellington Aquifer – Groundwater that is a primary source of water
- Arcadia Lake – Surface water that is a primary source of water
- Purchased potable (drinkable) water from Oklahoma City – A secondary source of water that was first purchased in 2001
After treatment at the water treatment plant or pumping from the wells, water is delivered to water customers via a citywide distribution system.
The distribution system includes storage tanks and water towers located in the Edmond area.
